600 acres of Lincoln City land is being considered as a future sixteen hundred and fifty home adult community. Sun City Developers have no official plans as of yet, however representatives for the Country’s biggest developer of active adult community does plan to meet with the Lincoln community again soon. Sun City developers also have hundreds of acres in North Carolina under contract at this time.
Although the community will be based on the same principles as any Sun City adult community, the project is simply not going to be large enough to be considered an actual Sun City adult community. And even though this project is smaller than the average Sun City developer projects, it would be the largest one of its kind in Lincoln City.
A big advantage of building this type of adult community is the lack of resources it will tax its City. In other words, because no children will live there, residents won’t require the use of the roads as much during peak times, and less water or even sewer is used, it is a valuable subdivision for Lincoln City, and Sun City developers.
Because of the nature of the community in regard to the decreased need in additional services, Sun City developers believe that communities will be more inclined to compete for these types of proposals, making it possible to grow roots in a different direction for the company.
Pulte, the company that is Sun City developers, builds homes in twenty eight different states in the U.S. all of which make up over four hundred thousand homes in total. Sun City developers plan on completing a project named Sun City Carolina Lakes in Lancaster County within the next ten years, featuring more than four thousand homes which will give adults another option when it comes to adult communities.
